The ECG/EKG Technician or Phlebotomy Technician program can be taken as a standalone course for those who already have a health occupation background or wish to acquire either or both skills outside of the medical assistant program. PREREQUISITES: Include a high school diploma or equivalent and an acceptable score on the pre-entrance test. Phlebotomy requires a medical clearance.
