Admission process for HVAC full time program opens in February/March of each year.
 In this program students will learn to install, troubleshoot and repair residential, commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Become confident in the use of modern diagnostic equipment and investigation techniques. This program fully prepares you to understand and handle A/C systems, heat and heat pump systems, electric circuitry, energy management systems and much more.
This course is equivalent to Year 1 and 2 of the HVAC/R Apprenticeship program. Apprenticeship is required for HVAC/R licensing in New Jersey. The goal is to get all students employed before the course ends in June.
Financial Aid: Need-based federal aid is available to qualified students



PREREQUISITES: 

High School diploma or equivalent
Acceptable scores on pre-entrance exam 
Submission of completed application form
Skills and Topics covered are:
Related mathematics
Electricity
Heating (all systems)
Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heat Pumps
 

Tuition
2017-2018 School Year
$9,004 (residents of Morris, Sussex, Warren counties)
$10,054 (all other county residents)
Textbooks, uniforms and some fees are not included


Schedule
Classes begin in September, 2017. Graduation is anticipated to be mid-June, 2018.

Financial Aid:
Our Full Time HVAC/R program qualifies for federal financial aid. Students must complete the FAFSA (online at www.fafsa.gov; our school code is 01546) to begin the financial aid process and prove financial need. To complete the process, you must first be accepted into the program.
Other avenues of financial assistance to students are the Veteran’s Administration, as well as Employment & Training, DVR and other agencies. It is the student’s responsibility to pursue these benefits.


Payment Plan
An initial deposit of $500 ($100 is non-refundable) is required to reserve a seat in the program, once the candidate is accepted. Tuition payments may be made in (2) installments. The first payment is due prior to the class start date; the second payment is due before February 1, 2017.
