Each year of the Plumbing apprentice program builds toward licensing readiness. The topics covered in this first of four years are: potable water delivery and conservation; sewage and drainage; venting and exhaust; piping, fixtures as well as blueprint reading. This foundation also includes instruction in the principles of applied math such as the metric system and conversions. PHCC materials included. Textbook not included.

PREREQUISITES: High school/state diploma, postsecondary diploma, certificate or transcript. Students should be working in the field with a licensed plumber willing to sponsor the student as an apprentice. Access to the Internet is necessary as some percentage of class is conducted online.
